Center for Environmental Education at Antioch New England Institute

The Center for Environmental Education's Resource Center, provides quality EE materials, curriculum and networking connections directly to teachers and students across the U.S. and Canada; and CEE Programs, working with particular schools, districts and communities (mostly in New England, but also in some major cities throughout the U.S.) to create model commmunity-based EE projects.

A tremendous source of valuable information, the Regional Educational Laboratory Network is composed of ten educational laboratories that serve different regions of the country. They are funded by the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI) and the Department of Education. Each laboratory is a nonprofit research, development, and service agency. Although they cover a range of issues, the laboratories have areas of specialization.

The Annenberg Rural Trust is a member of the Education and Libraries Networks Coalition (EdLiNC) which was formed to represent the viewpoint of schools and libraries in the FCC proceedings dealing with the implementation of the Telecommunications Act of 1996. The Coalition seeks to expand the use of educational technologies in schools and libraries by making sure that these entities are given the affordable rate (the "E-rate") which is guaranteed to them in Universal Service Provisions of the Act. EdLiNC's site provides useful advocacy and publicity information including a great Action Kit to help you inform your elected representatives about the benefits of the E-rate to your community.
